What are your safety features?

Our Guilford area dog boarding facility is served by a specialized HVAC system that circulates clean, purified, and temperature-controlled air to all parts of our resort, day and night. We also have a newly upgraded, facility-wide security monitoring system, ultra-high play yard fencing, dog-specific turf surfaces, and comprehensive training for all our staff. All parts of the resort are deep-cleaned daily with veterinary-grade products, while thorough group play evaluations and group matching support safe social play. What are your stay requirements?
To keep our dog boarding facility near Guilford safe for all, we require proof of vaccination for all of our guests. This includes rabies, the distemper combo, and Bordetella. We also highly recommend the vaccines for canine influenza and leptospirosis.
Additionally, the state of Connecticut requires us to have a copy of your rabies certificate and town dog license.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations are required for our dog boarding near Guilford, CT. Always knowing how many pups to expect each day allows us to staff appropriately to maintain exceptional safety and supervision. What should I bring?
Most pets do best on their usual diet when they’re away from home. Please bring your pet’s food, bagged per serving and labeled with their name. Zipper baggies and permanent marker work great!
If your pet receives medication, please bring all meds in their original containers with clear instructions. Please don’t mix any medications into your pet’s food, as all medications are hand-administered by a supervisor to ensure the complete dose is taken each time.
Your pet’s dog boarding room or suite comes furnished with an elevated bed, fleece bedding, clean water, and lots of love. There’s no need to bring any bedding, toys, or personal items from home.
What are your dog boarding drop off/pick up hours?
You’re welcome to drop off your pet any time on their arrival day, but we recommend arriving between 10 am and 12 noon to avoid our typical morning “daycare rush.” This gives your dog plenty of time to get settled in, meet their new friends, and join the day’s activities.
You’re welcome to pick up your pet any time during our operating hours, which are:
- Monday – Friday 7 am to 6 pm
- Saturday 10 am to 4 pm
If you need Sunday or after-hours checkout, we may be able to accommodate for an additional fee. Please call to arrange late checkout for your pet.
Do you accommodate medications and special diets?
We can provide your pet’s oral or topical medications for a small fee per dose, unless they’re on our TLC Package which includes administration of medication. At this time, we’re not able to provide injections including insulin. Please bring all medications in their original containers with clear instructions, not mixed into your pet’s food.
Special diets can be accommodated, and we’re equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, and microwave to store your pet’s food. Our standard overnight care includes two daily feedings. If your pet needs more frequent feedings, or if they’re on a raw diet or one with multiple components, a small special feeding charge may apply for the additional labor involved. If your pet has any food allergies or sensitivities, please let us know.
